"A QUART INTO A PINT POT" GARDEN

CHINEHAM, HAMPSHIRE

This was a design for a small, sloping, suburban garden.  My clients had koi carp and so needed a good sized pond, and also wanted a garden studio, BBQ area away from the house and veg patch with greenhouse, so there were a lot of functional needs to accommodate, as well as providing a decent sized lawn and new planting.

I positioned the koi pond near to the house, so it could be looked into from the patio and better seen from the house, with a raised bed housing a water blade.  I levelled the garden to create a sunken area in which the BBQ and a second sitting place was placed under a bespoke corner pergola.

The studio was designed and build by Paul Busbridge, who also built the main garden to his usual high standards.  Buz Creative Landscapes
